Artists’ Moving Image Network Screening Weekend
5–7 July 2019
The inaugural Pavilion Artists' Moving Image Network Screening Weekend is a cinema-based group exhibition focused on bringing the work of Yorkshire-based artists in dialogue with international artists and filmmakers.
The three-day programme takes place across the Hyde Park Picture House and our shared space at 42 New Briggate and is guest curated by Herb Shellenberger (Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival).
Part of Index Festival – a visual arts festival during Yorkshire Sculpture International 2019 – the line-up features familiar titles of experimental cinema such as Chris Marker’s Sans Soleil (1983) alongside new works by contemporary artists based in Yorkshire including Rhian Cooke and Harlan Whittingham.
