Leeds University Union
The Pyramid Theatre at Leeds University Union, is located in the heart of the Leeds University campus – just a 15 minute walk from Hyde Park and Leeds City Centre.
Open to absolutely everyone, Leeds University Union delivers a public programme of activity events throughout the year – from concerts and conferences, to large scale festivals. Whether you're currently a student, or were one many years ago, you're very welcome in the building.
From the main entrance, the Pyramid Theatre is located towards the very bottom of the Union building. Hyde Park Picture House staff and volunteers will also be on hand at the Union's main entrance to point you in the right direction.

» Have your e-ticket on your device, or print it at home & have it to hand.
» Keep a safe distance from others when moving around the building.
» Avoid attending if you or anyone you live with has COVID-19 symptoms.

There is step-free access to the Union's main entrance. The Union building has step-free access via a ramped entrance at the front of the building.. A lift is available from the main foyer to the Pyramid Theatre Screening room, where there are two dedicated wheelchair spaces. These can be booked in advance online, or by calling the box office on 0113 275 2045.
The Pyramid Theatre has its own dedicated bar selling a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as snacks including sweets and popcorn.
Currently, refreshments at the bar can only be pre-ordered when you purchase your tickets. These will then be available to collect at the bar as you arrive.
We hope to be able to resume sales at the bar itself later in the summer.
By walking & cycling:
The Union Building is in the centre of the main University of Leeds campus. It is a 20-30 minute walk from Leeds city centre and is well sign-posted. There are also bike racks by the Union Building to lock your bike.

By Train, Bike, or Bus:
A number of bus services run from the city centre to the Parkinson Building. Take bus numbers 1, 6, 28, 56, or 97. Ask for the “Parkinson steps” bus stop.
Parking on campus is limited, and we are also committed to reducing our carbon emissions, so we encourage staff and visitors to walk or cycle where possible.
Outside core parking hours (7am to 5pm Monday to Friday), the orange zone visitor car parks are open to the public, and you can pay at a pay station before you leave.

Please note – additional Blue Badge parking is available on Campus – around 500 metres away, within the Leeds University Multi-storey car park should the spaces by the Union be unavailable. Additional spaces are also provided off-Campus at the Woodhouse Lane Multi-storey.
