Rosie tells the story of a mother of four, whose family becomes homeless after their landlord sells their rented home. Over 36 hours, Rosie (Sarah Greene) and her partner John Paul (Moe Dunford) strive to find somewhere to stay while shielding their young family from the reality of the situation around them.
Written by novelist Roddy Doyle (The Commitments), in response to Dublin’s housing crisis, Rosie examines how even in times of adversity; the love and strength of a family can endure.
Following the film, we’ll be joined by the film’s director Paddy Breathnach (I Went Down,Viva) for a live Q&A.
Rosie picked up two awards at the 2018 Irish Film London Awards: Best Feature Film and the Ros Hubbard Award for Acting, for Sarah Greene's performance.
