Film description

Cannes Best Actor winner Antonio Banderas and Penélope Cruz are outstanding in the frank and moving Pain and Glory – the latest from acclaimed director Pedro Almodóvar (Volver, Julietta).  

The film follows director Salvador Mallo (Banderas) who finds himself blocked. Vexed by the ailments of an ageing body and troubled by insecurities, he cannot find the creative impulse that once revealed itself so readily.

Access info

The Picture House has two small steps at the main entrance. Step-free access to the auditorium and foyer is possible via a side entrance. Unfortunately none of the Picture House's toilets are accessible and both via a flight of stairs. The cinema has three wheelchair spaces – to reserve one of these, please select the 'wheelchair space' ticket during checkout.
