Film description

One night in New Orleans, a distinguished astrophysicist is found dead in the observatory after one of her lectures. The case is assigned to Mike Hoolihan (Patricia Clarkson), a detective with a secret life trauma and history of alcohol abuse. Mike’s search for the murderer becomes increasingly more complicated as the detective’s own state of mind worsens…

The latest from filmmaker Carol Morley (Falling), is an unmissable and wonderfully off-beat neo-noir, with a captivating lead performance from Clarkson.
