Film description

When young Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) is forced by her father and her stepmother to babysit the brother Toby while they are out of the house she is unable to stop his incessant crying. In rage she wishes for her stepbrother to be taken by the Goblin King, Jareth (David Bowie). All of a sudden Toby stops crying and the cradle is empty, her wish is granted. The Goblin King tells her that she has to rescue the baby before midnight, otherwise Toby will be turned into a goblin.

Wracked with guilt she must rescue the baby from Goblin city, at the centre of a mighty Labyrinth, recruiting an unlikely band of creatures to help her in this masterwork of fantasy from Jim Henson (The Muppets, The Dark Crystal).
