Film description

It’s A Wonderful Life is without a doubt one of the most popular and enduring films ever made and an annual fixture here at the Picture House. For the uninitiated the film opens with angels discussing George Bailey, a man so beset with problems that he loses sight of the true effect of his good deeds. He wallows in a darkness rarely seen in Hollywood cinema, making the sweetness and genuine optimism all the more touching.

It’s a film that seems to get better and better with age, and one we simply couldn’t imagine not sharing once again in the run up to Christmas.
