It's hard to picture how animated cinema might have looked today without the phenomenal popularity of a charismatic cowboy and a disillusioned spaceman. Now, 15 years after their original big-screen adventure, Woody (Hanks), Buzz (Allen) and the gang are back out of the toy-chest in one of the year's most anticipated releases. With doting owner Andy all grown up and off to college, the toys find themselves relocated as hand-me-downs for a group of tots in a daycare centre.
With all the original toys back together, plus a host of new faces, TOY STORY 3 was an instant success on it's release last year, further cementing Pixar's status as a modern masters of American animation.
