Synopsis:

This is the first in a new season of matinees at the Picture House which have been designed to be inclusive to those living with dementia as well as family members and carers. It is rooted in the idea that a trip to the cinema is a powerful way for people to reconnect with memories.

For our first screening, we'll be showing the 1952 classic Singin' in the Rain. Set in the late 1920s, this dazzling musical follows silent film star Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) as he navigates the birth of the sound age with the help of talented ingenue Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds).
